Thoughts on Maundy Thursday

As Christians, we are called to follow the example of Jesus and to serve our communities with selfless love. This includes caring for the poor, the sick, the lonely, and the marginalized. We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world, bringing the hope and love of the Gospel to those who need it most.

On this Maundy Thursday, let us reflect on the call to servant ministry that is at the heart of our Christian faith. Let us ask ourselves how we can follow Jesus' example by serving those around us with humility and love. Let us look for ways to reach out to those in need and to share the love of Christ with those who are hurting.

As we observe Maundy Thursday, let us also remember the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. It was his selfless act of love that made our salvation possible, and it is through his example of servant leadership that we are called to live our lives.

May we always remember the call to servant ministry that is at the heart of our faith, and may we strive to follow Jesus' example in all that we do. May the Holy Spirit guide us and empower us to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world, bringing hope, love, and compassion to those who need it most.
