Music is an integral part of the faith community here at memorial. We strive to present music that will connect ourselves and the congregation with God. We currently have four regularly performing groups that all ages have access to. In addition to performing during Sunday services from September to June, our musical groups also perform in our annual December Christmas Concert with the Greendale Village Band
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music Education with a choral emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and have been the music director at Memorial since 2015. In addition to directing and programming all musical groups, I am a music teacher at an elementary school in Muskego. I enjoy programming familiar tunes and upbeat music to get the congregation more involved in the wonderful music ministry.

Pianist / Organist / Accompanist
I was raised in a family that went to church every Sunday. My parents served on committees and taught Sunday School. I started piano lessons when I was five years old. The beautiful music of the Church drew me in to hear God’s word and His plan for us. Music has always been a big part of my life.
I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in music from UWM and taught in public schools until my husband and I started a family. I have been playing piano and a little organ at Memorial since September 2012. I feel privileged to work with such a talented group of people who share my love of spiritual music.
My goal through my music is to help bring people closer to God. Sometimes it’s hard to remember a specific Bible passage, but you never forget the words to your favorite hymn.
Bells of Praise
Bells of Praise is our advanced handbell group. We are a small but mighty group that rings with few players yet still perform music that we find challenging. Many of us have been playing together for over 20 years. Ability to read music is a required to be a part of this group. We rehearse Thursday's in the Sanctuary from 8:30pm-9:30pm
Chancel Choir is our only adult vocal ensemble at Memorial. The choir rehearses on Thursday in the choir room adjacent to the sanctuary from 6:30pm-7:20pm. We sing various styles of liturgical repertoire and enjoy learning and singing together. Ability to read music is NOT required to join as we welcome all who are interested.
Joyful Bells is our beginning/intermediate handbell choir. We perform music that all of our group members are able to understand while still learning how to play handbells. Ability to read music is NOT required to join, we welcome anyone who is interested. Joyful Bells rehearses on Thursday's in the Sanctuary from 7:30pm-8:20pm
Our newly formed Children's choir is complied of students from the churches youth Sunday School classes. The Children's choir sings popular hymns and songs that will help them grow as musicians in the eyes of God. We practice on Sunday's from 10-10:15 in the Sunday School room and perform during service on the first Sunday of every month. We will soon have a youth handbell choir for kids 7 years and older.
